I am a cheater.....

Thats right. I am a cheater. I cheated. Cheated on Derrick. Today I opted for a douple dip of Jarling's Lemon custard instead of Culvers ice cream. I have to admit, it was sooooo good. And totally worth it! Sorry Derrick, I love you babe, but I love Jarlings too!! :)

So I think I know how I am going to make my millions.... I have a new diet plan. Riley actaully gave me the idea. She was so rotten cute last night. After she ate, I jept trying to get her out of her highchair. She wasnt having any of it. She wanted her toys, in her highchair. To eat. Isnt she so rotten cute?


So not much else happening here. Waiting for the big storms to hit. I guess that its supposed to get really bad tonight, tornadoes, hail, the whole nine yards. I have heard that it will be bad again tomorrow, but the weather channel keeps promising more sun and clouds.

I did go get my nails done today. Totally loving them. Usually I get so frustrated at them, I want to take them off by now. I didnt let her put any tips on them for that reason. I just had them do an acrylic overlay, with a french manicure polish. Totally cute. Lets hope it lasts!

Well thats all for tonight....all you Illinois-ians keep an eye on the weather....I know I will be (course I a FREAK about weather.....)

Ha! I have finally figured it out! I figured out the feature that only lets people who have blogs comment. It is turned off now, so everyone can comment. I expect to see your comments. Comment. Comment now dangit! I have ot know I am not the only one reading this!

Derrick and I are getting ready to take our official looking letter to our neighbors. They own the house caddy-corner to us, but live somewhere out in the country. Great fun. Good thing that Riley isnt all the way asleep.... yet. Speaking of the punkin... isnt this adorable?? I took this last night, after the poor little thing consumed almost a whole jar of peaches. She was one hungry baby!

Well, I am being prompted, its almost time to go.....I will leave you with one parting thought..... COMMENT!!!

Little Things

Ever notice how it is the little things in life that make you the happiest? This morning I went ot kiss Riley goodbye before I left for work. She was sound asleep, but turned her head when she "sensed" me. I bent down kissed her little cheek, and stod back up . Those little eyelids fluttered, opened, focused, and I was rewarded with the biggest smile. Man, what a way to start out the day!

No new house hews. At this point no news either means we have not used something that will break, or that we are totally unaware of the fact that something is leaking. Derrick and I did contact two out of three of our neighbors regarding our addition. We are hoping that we will get approval from the board on Monday. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

I do have new pictures of Riley. These were taken Monday night. I swear the kid is trying to crawl! She gets up on her knees, almost, and is trying to scoot. Shes so cute, you cant help but love her to peices! Well I wont keep you in suspense any longer... here she is!!

Lonesome

Can I say it? Derrick and Riley have been gone all day at Tony and Cindy's. Its 9:10pm, and they are not home yet. I am resisting the urge to frantically call them. I have to admit it. I am lonesome without them! I managed to get a majority of the cleaning done, and have one load of laundry left to wash. That is a feat in itself. I have spent the rest of the afternoon creating, in my scraproom. Here are the pictures to prove it!!!

So other than that, I have had a fairly uneventful day. I guess thats the way that it should be... ooohhh I just thought.. i need to check who won the Ohio State game today...

Well wish i had more news, but there just isnt enough happening on the homefront!
