Happy Birthday to me!!

I LOVE my birthday. Love it. I have spent all morning shopping! So excited! I got TONS of stuff at the scrapbook store, and am ready to go back for more! Derricks mom got me a new shirt, and a new pair of Jammie pants. I think that we will be headed to the mothership (GAP) soon. I got the cutest shirt today to wear out tonight! i am soooo excited! Cant wait! Ready to drink a little bit. Or a lotta bit. I cant lie! (sorry mom and dad). Its been so long since I have been out in this type of setting, so I am raring to go. Derricks mom is going to keep Riley tonight, so that we dont have to worry about driving home. Thank goodness.

So thats it... off to play with some of my new goodies...

Kyle, Kyle Kyle!

So. Loveing myspace. Seriously loving it. Logged on to see if I could get some dirt on my sisters. (sorry guys...) Ended up finding my little brother! Okay. So maybe you are thinking "hmmmm. Kristen has a brother? I didnt know!" it strue! All true! Kyle and I have the same birthfather. We met about six years ago, after finding my birthmother. We have been out of contact for about four years, but we started talking again on Sunday! Good times. Good times! I cant wait to go see him soon!

So today sucked. People calling in. Here is a message. Serious message. Call into work? Dont get online. It looks bad. Really bad. To sick to work? To sick to play. Vent over.

So here is another issue--I dont get it. I hate Health Alliance. I really do. With a passion. I spent close to six hours today dealing with them on an issue. I had the patient to doctor soordinator tell me "Why dont you understand? Its so simple" Whatever.

Seriously people. Its two days away from my birthday. Give me a freaking break.

I feel like I am struggling so bad right now, just cause I cant get through to people. I say things until I am blue in the face, and still things dont get done right. It blows my mind. These are SIMPLE tasks. Simple.

The sad thing? This entry would be a whole lot worse, but I dont know who is "watching" my blog. Arrrggg.

new pages!

Sadly, this is it so far... well I have some pages for Cindy's album... but thats all! Overall though, I would say it was a pretty productive weekend!

Well. I guess my mojo is coming back. Full speed ahead! The three purple and green pages are for Cindy's maternity album. The "Is she your only?" is one of my favorites that I have ever done. I was asked by a woman in IGA if Riley was my only. I replied yep, for right now. I thought about this all day. She is my only. My only girl. My only first child. My only child. My only person in a crib. My only person with the most toys. She is my only. Even when we add another one into the mix, she will still be my only fist. maybe my only girl. she will still be the only one that taught us how to get spit up on. the only that taught us diaper changes. the only one that first taught us our hearts could exist outside of our bodies.

We just got back from the treck to the post office. All that walking for one Target Bill. Doesnnt seem right!

The little one is down in her playpen, working on a plan for a nap, or lack there of. I need to get a picture printed of Riley and Zachary together, and write a note to Brian. It seems impossible that he will be home in just a couple short weeks. Cant wait to see him. Plus (and this is bad) I know that he is missing tons of food around here, so I cant wait to have a going out to eat partner!

No scrapping last night. I guess I am still formulating. Hopefully I will get some ages cranked out today....

My Desk. its clean!!!! Who woulda thunk it??

Hmmm... I thought that I uploaded a picture of my clean shelves too. Oh well. I sorted all my paper. By company, color, ect. Those of you that love scrapbooking will see the importance of this. There is nothing like searching for that peice of basic grey paper (this is a brand for all you non scrapbook people) and not being able to find it. To ease this common pain, I sort by company, then by paper. Sounds obbsessive huh? It is my friend. It is.

So now I should be scrapping right? I am formulating in my head. Thats all. Formulating. I am hoping to turn out something wonderful tonight. And now, the master (okay wanabe master) must go to work.

TONS of ribbons. and those are only carded or spooled ribbon. loose ribbon is stored in another basket!

See the open desk drawer on the left? Full of boxes and boxes off all sorts of fun stuff. Brads. Eyelets. Buttons. See the open long drawer on the front of the desk? Full of rub-ons. Tons of rubons. You cant really see it, but there is a Longaberger basket on the pulled out chair. Full. More rubons, more stickers. More everything.

So why all the pictures? A major cleanup is about to happen. Major. Tonight. I can not scrapbook in theis chaos. I need some sort of order, some "pick" up system. It has gotten way out of control! Lets hope I have some CLEAN pictures to post tonight.

Easter, Easter, Easter.....

Easter pics for everyone!! So ready for the cutest thing ever? The Easter Bunny spent 40 bucks on a walker. Riley got in it, pulled the hamper over to her, and chewed on the handle. We coulda spent 5 bucks and gotten her a laundry basket! Silly girl!

Easter went well. We all went to church together, even Derrick. Yes the church is still standing! Riley tried to sing over and over with us, but ended up yelling more than anything. She's still cute though! Her dress was a hit! Thanks Amber!

I did manage to get a good picture of Riley and Zachary together this weekend. THis is the first time we have seen him since Brian left, so I am hoping to get this printed and mailed off to brian as soon as possible.

Rumor had it that Brian was going to get to call home yesterday. We didnt hear anything at mom and dads but we dont know if he tried to call jennifer and Zachary. She wouldnt tell us anyway. I told Zachary that daddy comes home in 36 days, and we will have cake and ice cream then. Jennifer told him that his Daddy went away for job and wasnt coming back. Stupid &(*&#$%.

Well I am putting the finishing touches on a new Layout. I am going to post it here later tonight. This is one that I took apart and did over, so I will have a "voting" contest..... maybye that will atract some more comments!

scrapbooking? who? me??

i finally got my pictures back from Winkflash. all i want to do is scrapbook! i spent so much of last night trying to clean up the house, that i was pooped after Riley went to bed! tonight she went a little early, so i have been all over the scrapbooking! i can not resist! i am totally loving this layout. it talks about how i wish i could reach over and just push pause. keep her this way forever. and ever.

Riley attended her first wedding today. she did remarkably well! very quiet, until the end, when they were dismissing everyone. she wore her cute little old navy dress that we got from amber. it was simply adorable.

well the easter bunny has a lot of work to do tonight... there are eggs to dye, eggs to fill, a walker to put together, and baskets to fill......guess mr. bunny better hop to it!!

Help! Help!

Something has happened in my bathroom. I can't figure it out. I dont know what would have made it happen. Some how, some way the closet has vomited all over my bathroom floor. Everywhere. It's putrid. Thats not all. It has overtaken a corner in Riley's room. How did this happen? The laundry is threatening to overtake my life. Will there ever be one single laundry free day? What do you do for this? Is there a lundry vomit specialist you can call? I am starting to get worried. I think that I could work full time here, at home, on laundry. Okay maybe not ONLY laundry but it would be close. Fourtunatly I was able to take a picture of some of the laundry vomit... here is the proof of what is happening in the White household (I always hate saying "the White household"--it sounds like we are white supremicists or something......)

I do have some new pictures of the sweetie... We took a couple pictures together yesterday, at home. She was trying to crawl out of her changing table. This was of course before all hell broke loose and we screamed for an hour and a half. For no reason. No reason. Let me repeat. No reason. And of course we have to throw a daddy pic in there for good measure. We are, after all, daddys little girl!

Okay.. I obviously need to post pictures, and type later... such is life!!

Amber! This post is all for you!! I told you that I would post these tonight, and for once I am following through on something!!

So I have a VERY grumpy baby tonight. She is trying to put her self to sleep right now, and its not working for her. Poor thing. I think that her little teeth are just hurting her!

We did go have our pictures done, with Miss Amber tonight! I can not wait to see them! Riley is, shall we say, expression-full? WE only got a couple smiles, but I think that they are going to be soooo perfect anyway. Plus I cant wait to see the chef-pot pics!

I have been woking on some new pages, I will post them tomorrow. It seems like it takes FOREVER for my pics to upload, so its easy if I only do a couple at a time.

Well I better check on the peanut, its awful quiet in there, course thats probably good--sleep may have been achieved at last!!

Is this day over yet?

Seriously?

Is it?

I feel like this day has dragged on, and on, and on. I am seriously lacking motivation. If it wasnt only 9:00 I would go to bed. I just know how tired I would be in the morning. Its not that there isnt things to do. Derrick and I finished the bathroom floor. It needs to be swept and cleaned. I need to wash bottles, and get them ready to go for tomorrow evening. I need to pack. I really need to vacume. I need to finish my picture order from winkflash. I need to disperse my latest scrapbook purchases, so that Derrick does not catch wind of them. I really, really, really need to get the discover bill this month before he does....

Yet I wont. I wont do any of it. I will finish blogging. I will read HP, I will go to bed. I will scramble to pack tomorrow, when I have NO time. I will not figure how to turn off the bold option. That I am stuck on. I am not yelling, jus t little computer illiterate.... Uhhhhggggg

Finally Friday!

Ever feel like you wish the week away? I do! I spend all week waiting for Friday. Friday. Friday. Then I sped all Friday night doing cleaning, or nothing. Either or. It doesn't matter. Not much gets accomplished. I fill my head with scary storeis on the travel channel, freak myself out until Derrick gets home. Maybe (and this is a HUGE maybe) I will sweep the kitchen floor. Start a load of laundry......Ehh... Whatever.

I always wake up Saturday morning thinking "okay I am going to do all my "ick" stuff by ten. Then I will have tons of time to do whatever I want. Never happens. I wake up Sunday thinking, I have to go back to work tomorrow! Nothing gets accomplished. I think that I need a four day work week.

I have some pictures on order, so I am afraid not much scrapping will get done tonight. More cleaning/sorting/touching of the supplies than anything. I might put together some sketches (OMG--I can not spell that word...is it right??) for Cindays album. I might try to get through HP 6. Well I think that I have bored you enought for the day.......

2 days in a row!?!?

Am I on a roll? Bored? Who knows... I have been surfing the net, trying to figure out my stupid &*(&($#*@& UPS tracking number. I ordered some awsome scrapbook stuff online, and am waiting to recieve it. Everyday I come flying around the corner hoping to see that happy little package on the porch. No such luck. Yet. I will keep waiting. Impatiently. Very impatiently. *Please, please UPS men, deliver my package. Tomorrow. Or else*

Derrick, Riley and I met dad at El Toro for dinner tonight. It was good, but as usual way to much food! Way to much. At least I have leftovers! I am meeting Magan there for luch tomorrow, so I am thinking i am saving the leftovers from tonight, for tomorrow night!

I really need to write a letter to Brian. I am trying so hard to write every week, but I am about two weeks behind. My had cramps up so bad, and my mind thinks faster than I can write. This baffles me. I was the queen of passing notes in school. I would write them all day long, and never feel a thing. Now its like pulling teeth to write an entire page. I finally typed my last letter. I think that made it more legible, and I could use spell check. Lord knows, dad wants me to use spell check.

Little else going on... Little Riley is this weeks schedule picture (for work) I had to beg Kristin to put her there, but she is there. In all her cuteness. Doing what she does best!

I'm Alive!

I promise! I am not dead! Seriously! Just a little lazy. Okay very lazy! I have not posted in forever! I even have new Riley pics to share.... Love the outfit (thanks amber--by the way I owe you an email...and a check) I think the "nekkid" headband one is her game face. She is thinking "bring it on you morons" Or "seriously mommy can I get dressed now?" Ahhh... cuteness.

Not to much else going on here... wedid find out that our cousins are pregnant... so exciting! I cant believe that Tony is going to be a Daddy, and Cindy a mommy! They are going to be great parents!! I just cant wait to meet the little one.

Hmmm... for once I am a person of little words... doesnt happen often.....

Ahhhhhh....... Saturday

Grrr... this scan is really ticking me off...Its a whole lot cuter in person. The scan makes the paper look so dark, but its actually a darker sage green. This was my project last night. Took me FORVER to finish it! I am so unmotivated scrap wise lately.... its like I feel like I am doing the same thing over and over. And over. And over. You get the point. Hopefully I will have some time today to get a couple pages thought up, or started. I am really thinking of "mixing" things up (exciting huh??) and starting my maternity album. Kinda scared to start that though, I already have baby fever, and I dont want to make it stronger.....I am sure Derrick doesnt want it to get stronger either....

Riley has figured it all out. See once she goes to sleep, not EVERYONE goes to sleep. Therefore, why nap? Other people are not napping. She knows she is missing something. Poor little thing doesnt realize what she is missing. Laundry. Dishes. Shower. Laundry. Bottle collections. Laundry. Did I say laundry? Nothing like the smell of downy at 1am, right?? Seriously though, its not all bad. She totally sleeps through the night, has since she was 7 weeks old, but she doesnt want to nap at all during the day. More playtime for her and mommy!!

I am IM'ing Vanessa right now. How cool is it to be able to "talk" to someone in another country? I think that the time difference is what shocks me sometimes. That and all the rest of it.... the language barriers, the thought of all the mountians, totally different environment. I really admire Vanessa and Chandra in that respect. How hard it must be to pack up and move hours and hours away. Its hard for me to be an hour from mom and dad! I guess that I like things that are known. Friends, home, stores, ect. I find it hard to meet new people, and often have to force myself into those situations.....

Overhaulin'

So we wore overalls for the first time last weekend. Adorable. Like always! She is to much for me to handle, little cutie!!

So long time no post... well like 3 days no post. I am off tomorrow, so I am up late (is 11:00pm late still??). I am in the "planning" stages of a new page. I did get some of my older pages of Riley out of the box and into an album this week!
Tomorrow I am meeting Dana and Kelly at Daisy Lane. I am soooo excited I can not wait to see all the new goodies from CHA. I am seriously hoping for some BG Urban Couture paper, and some Prima flowers! I will be in scrapbooking heaven!

The Illini won tonight!! So stinking exciting, you have to love it. There is something about Illini basketball that just takes me back. I always think of the Schaffer's and breakfast at the pancake house. That and the chief. You have to love the chief. I dont care what anyone says. Long like the chief.

Well I think that catches you up on the week. Nothing, nothing and more nothing....cant complain!!!

Cute, Cute, Cute!

Okay, are these not the cutest pictures or what? Grandma took us to Carter's today to do some shopping. We got some of the cutest stuff. Dresses, tank tops, onsies, capri-pants, shoes. All adorable. We let Riley try on this little hat. Perfection. Absolute perfection. She was so rotten cute! I cant wait to see her in all of these cute summer clothes!

So the storms did hit last night. It got pretty ugly, but wasnt as bad as it could be. Word has it, we are in for another round tonight. Wonderful. At least Derrick will be home this time!

Back to work tomorrow. Ugg. We have a doctor off this week, so it shouldnt be to bad. I think that we are all going to try to rotate, so everyone gets a day off. I think everyone will really enjoy that.

I really wish I had some new pages to share. Riley is asleep at the moment, so I am thinking I will get the chance to start on at least one before she deciedes to wake up. I will probably hole myself up in my scraproom all night after she goes to bed. I should have done it last night, but I was to tired! In fact a nap now sounds good. Hmmm..... maybe I should sleep while Riley sleeps!
